SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Based in Bristol in the UK, I am a highly versatile series producer/director of natural history, observational & constructed documentaries.

More than twenty years experience getting access to the most sensitive of subjects and contributors, from celebrities to street kids. I have well-honed narrative and storytelling skills, to tell compelling and engaging stories. In the natural history world I’ve filmed many of nature’s most iconic species, with a particular emphasis on big cats.

I’ve worked in many remote and austere locations across the world, and have more than 80 credits as a P/D for broadcasters including BBC1, BBC2, BBC3 ITV, Channel 4, Major streaming SVODs, Love Nature, Smithsonian, Animal Planet E4, MTV & Channel 5, as well as undertaking work for Comic Relief.

Self shooter on many cameras including C300, FS7 and PMW500. Series produced / directed for the BBC / NHU, ITV and Animal Planet, running large teams, to budget and schedule.
